Hello Friends, it’s been a while 🙂

It’s finally time for another Finally Friday. I could bore you with the reasons of why I took such a long break, but let’s just look into the future. This time around I’m not going to force myself to post every single Friday. I realized that I ended up putting pressure on myself when there was absolutely no reason to do so.

So this will be a fresh start for this format. I will post about music and musicians that I fell like featuring. Pretty simple, right?

Dariio is starting off the Finally Friday reboot with these two promo mixes really showing off his range in track selection and electronic genres. Dariio and I go way back and I’m stoked he’s still dropping heat like this:

Check out Dariio on Mixcloud and give him a follow while you’re at it.

Stay up to date by subscribing to my posts or find me on social media if you want to connect or if you have a mix you want me to check out.

Cheers, RDMN

Aaaand what an awesome Friday this is. Actually my “Friday” for this week was yesterday. Last day of work before my Winter holiday time until January. My parents are on the way for their Christmas visit as well so I’m coasting smoothly into the weekend.

I’m very happy to be celebrating this Friday with a new mix by one of my best friends throughout my time in the US: Mikey V!
Don’t worry, this won’t be christmas themed. This mix starts off with a housy feel that got me head nodding really liking the housy vibe and thinking “This is cool, though he usually plays elec..” Slam! and in comes the type of sound he played when we used to share decks at shows in Sacramento. For good measure he even added a couple remixes I made… brownie points! 😀

In some ways our friendship was the kind I had only seen on TV before, unthinkable in a German setting. His family’s front door was always open to me so I was able to barge in there like a sitcom side character without prior notice. It was like that for years and it was fun. I felt welcome at all times. One of the many things I miss about the past. I’m glad that with today’s connectivity options it is relatively easy to at least stay in touch and, with a bit more effort, nurture and continue to grow a friendship.

I’m happy Mike recorded this new mix and that I was able to annoy my co-workers by blasting it in the car as I parked it on the company parking lot for the last time in 2018 at 6:55 am.

Mike, keep that shit coming! You’re my boy, blue!

cheers, RDMN

It feels like my train is finally pulling into the station…after going non-stop for two weeks. This is a potentially huge Friday for me personally and Chris Lake is bringing the energy I need to start the next 7 days.

I love tech and deep house but during most of my DJ sets back in the day I played straight up, bangin’ and electro house and I miss this drive sometimes here in Germany. This mix is just full of dope ass tracks with off beat rhythms and bass hits… I need this right now.

So let’s recharge with Chris Lake after this long ass week.

Cheers, RDMN
